Bring your computers, monitors, printers, phones, cables, and more to our Kitsilano shop. No appointment needed. Free for all Vancouver residents.
These are just some of the items we process weekly. We accept most electronics and tech.
If it has a plug or a battery, we can probably recycle it. Here's what we take:
Computers & Laptops
Monitors & Displays
Phones & Devices
Printers & Scanners
Cables & Accessories
Hard Drives & Storage
Worried about sensitive data on your old drives? We offer professional data destruction for complete peace of mind.
We physically destroy your hard drive or SSD using industrial equipment, ensuring your data can never be recovered. You'll receive written confirmation of destruction.
What's covered: Desktop hard drives (HDD), solid-state drives (SSD), laptop drives, and external drives. Price is per drive, regardless of size or type.
Why pay for destruction?
Software wipes can fail. Files can be recovered. Physical destruction guarantees your data is gone forever.
Essential for tax records, medical files, financial data, business documents, or any confidential information.
No appointment needed. Just drop by during business hours.
Bring it to us
Load up your old tech and bring it to our Kitsilano shop at 2744 West 4th Ave. We're open Mon–Fri 10am–6pm, Sat 11am–5pm.
We sort & process
We'll sort everything, wipe any data securely, and route items to certified recycling facilities or refurbishment programs.
You're done
That's it. Your e-waste is handled responsibly and you've kept toxic materials out of Vancouver landfills. No charge, no hassle.
For safety and regulatory reasons, we can't take the following items. Contact the City of Vancouver or a specialized facility for these.
Drop off your e-waste during regular business hours. No appointment needed.
We've been serving Vancouver since 1994. Our shop is on West 4th Avenue near Macdonald Street — plenty of street parking and easy access.
Still have questions? Call us at (604) 732-7816.
Do I need to wipe my data before bringing in my computer or phone?
We strongly recommend backing up your data and wiping it yourself before drop-off. If you need guaranteed data destruction, we offer professional drive destruction service for $20 per drive — see the Data Destruction section above for details.
Is there really no charge for recycling?
Correct. Drop-off is completely free for Vancouver residents. We're part of BC's Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) program, which funds electronics recycling.
What happens to my old electronics after I drop them off?
Items are sorted, tested, and either refurbished for reuse or sent to certified recycling facilities where materials like metals, plastics, and glass are recovered and repurposed.
Can I get a tax receipt for my donation?
We don't issue tax receipts for e-waste recycling. If you're donating working equipment and need a receipt, contact a registered charity instead.
Do you accept items that still work?
Yes! Working items are tested and refurbished for resale when possible, which is the most environmentally friendly option. Non-working items are recycled responsibly.
Is there a limit to how much I can bring?
For household quantities (a few boxes or carloads), there's no limit. If you're a business with large volumes, please call ahead so we can arrange appropriate processing.
Do you offer pickup service?
Not for residential quantities. You'll need to bring items to our shop. For businesses with very large volumes, contact us to discuss options.
Drop by our Kitsilano shop during business hours. We'll take it from there.
